Phoenix
Founder & Instructor
Phoenix Aryndia Vincent, MFA, heads the contemporary and jazz professional training classes at Unbound Movement Lab, along with the Return to Dance program — created for adult dancers ready to step back into the studio and reconnect with the joy of moving. She is also the Artistic Director of Vitalis Dance Project, a professional company that rehearses in the same space. One of Winston-Salem's newest, Vitalis is among only a handful of paid professional dance companies in North Carolina.
A lifelong dancer, Phoenix has performed across the country alongside well-known artists and danced professionally with three companies. She holds a degree in dance and a Master of Fine Arts in Dance Choreography from Jacksonville University, where her work centered on the expressive power of movement. In 2008 she opened her own dance studio, and for several years served as founder and artistic director of Elle Vie Dance Company — a professional company built to inspire dancers and create real opportunities to perform.
A choreographer and teacher who connects easily with people from every walk of life, Phoenix guides dancers of all levels to grow, take risks, and find genuine joy in the work.

Meghan
Founder & Instructor
At Unbound Movement Lab, Meghan leads the studio’s fitness programming alongside classes in ballet, tap, and musical theatre, creating a space where adult dancers can train, grow, and reconnect with movement. A current professional dancer, she brings real-world performance experience into every class while fostering an environment that is both challenging and supportive.
Meghan is also the owner of Ignite Dance Productions, the studio’s sister company, which provides dance and theatre education for children across the Charlotte and Winston-Salem areas. She grew up in North Carolina and began dancing at a young age, going on to train competitively and perform at festivals, collegiate athletic events, and Disney with renowned choreographers from across the country.
She earned her degree in Psychology and Dramatic Arts from UNC Chapel Hill and completed the Teacher Training Workshop at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet in 2024. With over a decade of teaching experience, Meghan works with adult dancers of all backgrounds from true beginners to former competitive, collegiate, and professional dancers, helping them build strength, confidence, and artistry while rediscovering their love of dance.
